Visit Date: November 15, 2025

Sam and I are frequent visitors of Sushi Bomb, an all-you-can-eat (AYCE) sushi and hibachi restaurant located in Robinson. But that’s not exactly a fun drive to make. So we’ve been hoping for a closer option to scratch that same itch. Luckily, that alternative now exists in Wexford!

Let’s Sushi opened in August 2025 and is located along Perry Highway next to the Whole Foods. The restaurant, like Sushi Bomb and other AYCE sushi places we’ve visited, is set up where you can order as much as you want off a set menu. We like this style because we feel the food (and fish) are fresher and not sitting out all night like on a buffet. We also prefer it over the increasingly popular conveyor belt sushi for the same reason.

Lunch is $20.99 per person, and dinner is $34.99 per person. I assume that lunch has a more limited menu compared to dinner, but I’m not sure what is and isn’t available. For comparison, Sushi Bomb costs $17.99 per person for lunch and $24.99 for dinner, which is a pretty steep difference, but we feel that, depending on what you like to order, that difference could be worth it. Sushi Bomb offers a wider variety of options, but it focuses mostly on rolls. Let’s Sushi has a smaller selection of rolls, but it seems to focus more on raw fish, thus the price difference.

The decor is elegant but approachable and consists of a variety of booths and four-tops, along with bar seating. When we visited on a Saturday evening, the place was pretty empty, but we did arrive past the normal dinner time. We had pretty good and attentive service, and we were pleasantly surprised with how quickly our food came out after each order. Normally at AYCE sushi places, we’ve waited anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes for each plate. Here, our average was closer to 5 or 10. Perhaps that was due to the smaller crowds, but that in and of itself is all the more reason to eat here over Sushi Bomb, which often has waitlists of 1-2 hours.

The menu is extensive, with a wide variety of sashimi, sushi, rolls, appetizers, entrees, and desserts. We tried a few different items, including more raw seafood than we normally would. I’ve tried a few raw sushi pieces from Sushi Bomb, and I can say that Let’s Sushi definitely has higher-quality fish.

We tried two sets of nigiri, which is fish (or another food) on a bed of rice. We are normally sushi roll people, but the place seemed higher quality than other spots we’ve visited, so we decided it was safe to try out some different raw options.

We ordered salmon, tuna, and sweet shrimp (pictured above) for our first order. Salmon and tuna are very common fish options, and we found them both to be high quality and not too fishy or chewy. The sweet shrimp was a new item for us, and we were motivated to order it because it’s limited to one order per customer, which told us it must be a higher value item. This ended up being one of my favorites! It had a great texture and flavor.

Our second order was surf clam, another sweet shrimp, and snapper (pictured below). This was still a good set but not as good as the first one. The surf clam was too chewy for my taste, and the snapper was good quality but not particularly noteworthy. The fun part of AYCE sushi is being able to try out different and unique options without having to commit to them as your full entree. On a return visit, we would definitely keep trying out even more fish options (and get more sweet shrimp too!)

Another new thing for us was trying out two different appetizers that we haven’t seen on sushi menus before – yellowtail jalapeño and naruto. Both of these were great, light options to start the meal. The naruto dish was particularly interesting – a few types of fish wrapped in cucumber and drizzled with ponzu sauce. And of course, no AYCE sushi dinner would be complete without crab rangoons – these were piping hot and delicious. I would recommend any of these and would definitely try more of their appetizer options.

We tried some rolls and cooked entrees as well. We had a Rainbow Roll (my favorite and therefore a must-order anywhere for me), Pittsburgh Roll, Angry Dragon Roll, Crazy California Roll, and Red Dragon Roll:

  • Rainbow Roll – California roll topped with tuna, salmon, snapper, ebi, and avocado
  • Pittsburgh Roll – Salmon, white fish, tuna, and avocado deep fried, topped with eel sauce, spicy mayo, green onion, and masago
  • Angry Dragon Roll – Spicy tuna, salmon, and asparagus topped with white tuna, avocado, spicy mayo, and masago
  • Crazy California Roll – California roll topped with spicy tuna and spicy mayo
  • Red Dragon Roll – Shrim tempura and cucumber topped with spicy salmon, mayo, and crunchies

The Angry Dragon Roll was a standout to us and something we would definitley order again. It had a great spice level, and the asparagus was a pleasant surprise. The other rolls were good but not as noteworthy. The only one we wouldn’t get again is the Pittsburgh roll, but neither of us are big fans of deep-fried rolls, so this could be a hit for you if you are!

We also tried an order of the stir-fried udon with beef, just to see how their cooked entrees were. Most AYCE sushi restaurants have some cooked options like hibachi on the menu, so even if you’re not a fish fan, there’s still something for you! This udon was good but not particularly special. Personally, I would stick to the sushi.

We also tried one of their dessert options – fried Oreos. These were good but not your traditional fried Oreos. Normally, the cookies are covered and fried in a funnel cake batter, whereas these were dipped in (what we think) is a tempura-style batter. This resulted in a dessert that was crunchy but not sweet or soft like the usual treat. We enjoyed these but would probably not try them again. They had other dessert options, with a lot of fried offerings (bananas, cheesecake) that I assume would be similar to the Oreos.

Overall, we really enjoyed our visit to Let’s Sushi, and it’s a place we would definitely revisit to try more of their menu! The restaurant was clean, and the food was fresh and delicious. Even though we are Sushi Bomb regulars, we think that this place is distinct enough to deserve its own visit. In fact, Sam likes it so much that he is adament that between the food, cleanliness, service, and location, it is a superior option to Sushi Bomb. I am still undecided as to which I prefer due to the larger selection of rolls at Sushi Bomb and our established relationship with the restaurant – I’ll need to revisit Let’s Sushi a few more times before I make up my mind. Regardless, it’s a great addition to the options in Wexford, and I think it’s worth a stop if you’re up that way! It’ll certainly be the place we go to when we don’t want to drive out to Robinson!
